Learning languages during your studies offers a unique opportunity to distinguish yourself and gain further skills that can be helpful both in your studies, when entering your profession and further career, and for life in general.

We will present our wide range of offers and will be available for questions and individual consultations.

The Centre for Foreign Language Education (ZFA) at Ruhr-Universität Bochum is the central address for all RUB students who want to expand their foreign language skills or learn new languages.

We offer courses in 14 languages that are free of charge for RUB students and creditable in the optional area as well as in many subject areas. Our other offers include language learning in tandem and various nationally and internationally recognised language certificates.
